SARAH ELIZABETH POWELL is a true New Yorker (10+ years strong!), an AEA singer-actor-dancer and a PMA-CPT Pilates instructor. Born and raised in Pensacola, FL, she is an honors graduate of Interlochen Arts Academy (Classical Voice) and graduated summa cum laude from New York University - Steinhardt with a Bachelor of Music in Vocal Performance (Music Theatre) and a minor in Business of Entertainment, Media and Technology. After college while pursuing her theatrical career, she certified in Pilates mat and all equipment as well as Core Align through Pilates Academy International, Balanced Body and PMA-CPT. When in New York, you can find Sarah teaching at Equinox as a Senior Pilates Instructor as well as teaching courses for Pilates Academy International. However, Sarah is usually pursuing her theatrical dreams on the road. She was last seen at Tuacahn Center for the Arts in alternating repertory of Cathy Rigby's Peter Pan, Tarzan and the regional premiere of Hunchback of Notre Dame.
“Sarah is a very talented and gifted performer and I am very proud of her. Rarely does one find such a good singer and dancer combined.”
